Osquery exposes the OS as a high-performance relational database. It organises system data in tables that you can query using your favourite query language SQL. Whatever I end up doing, I'll try and document it so that others can possibly get some idea of what might be good. This is the concept that the osquery project pushes by providing a low-level and powerful endpoint that can be used for system analysis or monitoring.
